Walked out and looked up. The CN Tower sitting perfectly between two buildings like the city framed it for me. Stars still visible, the whole downtown quiet in that way only January nights can be. I have lived here long enough to take this city for granted but then a night like this happens and I remember why I carry a camera everywhere.
