Photographer
Maninder Singh is a creative director, photographer, and multidisciplinary designer working out of Toronto. His practice spans visual identity and photography, the kind of work that prioritizes depth over reach. He thinks in systems, designs with restraint, and photographs the things most people walk past. He grew up between cultures, languages, and cities, and that in between space is where most of his creative instincts come from. Design and photography evolved together for him, one feeding the other, each sharpening how he sees and what he chooses to make.
He has moved through different creative mediums over the years, each adding a layer to how he approaches the work today. More recently, film photography has become part of the practice, another way of slowing down and paying closer attention. Away from the screen, you will find him on a golf course, at a stable, or in the water, each teaching something that eventually shows up in the work. What drives him is not one thing, but the focus has always been the same: clarity over noise, craft over shortcuts, and showing up consistently even when nobody is watching. If any of this resonates with how you approach your own work, there is probably something worth building together.
